In this article, we will see the story of a mother named Ashley who was shamed in public for breastfeeding her little baby.
She saw that her baby was hungry and wanted to feed him and just like any mother would do she started breastfeeding him.
There was a woman standing at the table near her who started giving her looks of disgust while Ashley was breastfeeding.
Ashley was determined to continue doing what she was doing and she didn’t give in to what was happening.
Ashley shared a picture of her breastfeeding her child while the stranger was staring at her.
Ashley described the picture saying that this woman was staring into her eyes in a judgemental way but according to Ashley there is nothing wrong with breastfeeding your child in public uncovered.
Ashley went on to list some reasons why mothers should not be ashamed to breastfeed in public
First, it is a right protected by law. And secondly, because it is the most natural thing and no one should be ashamed for doing something that was intended by nature to be done this way.
The third reason that the mother listed was that breastfeeding is the healthiest way to feed a child and no one should be forced to give up that right.
