Teaching Independence To Autistic Children

Why is Independence so important for children with autism and how can we achieve that? 

Firstly, we all know that independence for autistic children can vary from one person to another. Achieving independence of any level is not accidental. This is a process that takes careful planning. It is true that independence should start as a toddler, but you have to know that it is never too late to start that.
