Mom will do everything to save her baby’s life and this is the same for Naledi Manyoni. The 26 YO mother made a quick decision to save her baby’s life after riots and lootings in South Africa. They set fire to buildings and Manyoni and her daughter were in the middle of the fire.
She was forced to throw her baby because there was no other choice for her. All I had to do was to make sure she lived.
People were gathered in front of the building shouting at her to throw the baby. Fortunately, everything ended well for her. The baby was saved. She squeezed to a balcony because other exits were on fire. I could not do anything else than trust complete strangers.
The baby was shaken by the events, and kept saying ‘Mama you threw me down there’. I don’t know what to say, I am shocked.
