Kind Police Officer Comforts Toddler After Finding Him Wandering Streets Alone

James Hurst is an officer in Savannah, Georgia, and has a great job protecting and serving, but one day he went beyond the call of duty.

Citizens saw a little boy wandering in the cold and called the police station for help. Officer Hurst responded to the phone call and didn’t waste a single moment to bring the little boy to safety.

He picked him up and took him to the hospital. He was photographed cradling the young boy and the photo went viral.

The little boy became nervous and very scared during the hospital exam, but the officer was there to comfort him.

When the little boy kept crying, Hurst grabbed him and held him in his chest and this calmed the little boy who fell asleep immediately.
