From Chasity to Chaz, she has been through a lot of difficulties in transit from female to male. Cher and Sonny Bono’s daughter was always in the spotlight as a cute little girl with blonde hair and ponytails.
Her parents were celebrities and she would appear on her parent’s show The Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour.
After a couple of years, she came out as a lesbian and after that, she decided to transit to a man and undergo surgery.
Her parents had a hard time with her decision because they were afraid to lose their daughter.
Cher said: “It was very difficult for me, I didn’t go through it easily.” We talked a lot about her transition, and I was afraid to lose the child I love.
My mother went through a mourning period, Chaz said. We didn’t see each other for the first year of my transition, he continued.
