Research Reveals Your Body Knows When Death Is Near, And It All Starts In The Nose

Even though we are living in the science world there are still some things about the human body that for science and doctors will be a mystery. Our bodies are complex so this is not a surprise.

We all have heard of the sixth sense and “ability” to predict things before they happen. There are people that see death coming. Scientists say that when people die their bodies start to break down.

Putrescine a foul and toxic scent is released. Humans subconsciously recognise this scent. Arnaud Weisman from the University of Kent’s School of Psychology in Canterbury, UK and Ilana Shira from the Department of Behavioural Sciences in Arkansas’ Tech University in Russellville, AK explain that same as animals, humans can sense scents and it is part of survival across the species.

Some of the experiments these two researchers have made concluded that when people feel the scent of putrescine, they go away just like the animals that feel the danger and run away. Creepy right? Anyway, scents do make people more vigilant of what they are being surrounded with.

Another example is sex pheromones which bring together for the propose of mating.

But putrescine is different from pheromones seem indeed to be opposite from the sexual pheromones. Researchers say that most of the time people are not aware of and do not associate fear or death, but is it really like that?

It is scary how a person can “feel” the scene of death, like it is out of our imagination but we should say human bodies and brains are different and we can say that it is really hard to discover all of them.

Share your opinion with us. Do you really think a person can feel the scene of death?
