Black People for their beliefs and actions have achieved fame all around the world. We do not forget to always include Martin Luther King and Nelson Mandela among them. But we have also some forgotten heroes that deserve to be spotted for their immense contribution.

Marie Van Brittan Brown
Did you know who came up with CCTV for security purposes? In fact this black woman created the first prototype. She patented and developed the CCTV technology. Her contribution is anonymous today.
Charles Richard Drew
An African – American doctor who was the developer of blood banks. He was responsible for saving thousands of lives with his research and guess what? He is unknown to the public.
Hattie McDaniel
The first African American woman that won an Oscar in 1939. And you know that this was in a time when black people weren’t recognized with achievements.
William Hastie
He was one of the most successful African American Lawyers. She became the first black federal judge. He paved the way of African Americans in the justice system.
Henrietta Lacks
She helped millions of lives without knowing anything about this. Her cells after being diagnosed with cancer were harvested and were used to create the polio vaccine and contributed to this.
